5 Go-To Brands For Wide and Narrow Fitting Calf Boots

With so many dresses and skirts in the shops at the moment, deciding what footwear to wear with them can be tricky. Trainers are great for the spring and summer but not great with tights and ankle boots can sometimes look clunky with hemlines below the knee. The answer? A knee high boot! It creates a long silhouette under your hemline and works perfectly with longer hemlines. However it can be challenging to find a pair that fit perfectly, especially if your calf is slimmer or larger than the ‘average’.

Stock for these boots can be difficult to find in a store outside London, so you’re likely to have to order online for the largest range. Some brands give the calf and shaft measurement which is super helpful (please can more brands do this!) and you can also have a look at customer reviews to see how they have found they fit.

Here I’ve listed favourite 5 of my brands that offer a good selection of contemporary styles designed especially for wide and narrow fitting calfs. If you see a pair that you love, be quick because these styles are always popular so sell out quickly and some are currently in the end of season sales!
