Discovering Vanity Boutique in Bingham

Last week, I met with my good friend Mel for a catch up and a wonder around the small market town of Bingham. I have only been there once previously, it’s based on the south-west side of Nottingham. We went with the intention of visiting Vanity Boutique, which was opened last year by Hannah, a multi-passionate entrepreneur who has several businesses, varying from a lash training and distribution company to a mobile Prosecco bar in a converted horse trailer! Vanity Boutique is Hannah’s latest venture- she is one extremely busy lady!

We received a really warm welcome from Demi and had a quick catch up with Hannah whilst she was between client’s in the beauty salon upstairs. Mel reported that I went into ‘shopping mode’ as I started to put together a selection of outfits for us both from the Boutiques collection, we had such fun!. Boots are models own, everything else Vanity!

Only Jeans

Mel had visited the boutique before and had raved about the Only jeans, of which she has several pairs, so I was keen to go and try them on! These are great value skinny jeans at only £25 per pair and are stocked in a rang of washes from dark indigo, to grey and stonewashed. There is also a wet look option, for when you want a sassy edge! The jeans come in a range of sizes and leg lengths from an XS (fit a size 6) to a XL (a size 14/16) and a range of leg lengths from 30” to 34” which is perfect for those who struggle to find a longer length jean! Here’s Mel in the 32” long jeans:

The jeans were obviously extremely popular as they were particularly limited in my usual size 10 jean, which I took as a great sign! In the normal denim washes I was a Medium, but in the wet look I needed to size up to a Large. Here I am in the 30” length Indigo and Wet Look jeans.

Red Cuckoo

This is a brand I discovered a couple of years ago and adore! They are a UK based bag company based in London and Manchester. They have a great range of colours and styles. The first bag I bought from them was a gift for my mother and subsequently recommended to client’s and bought myself. The bags are all made of a really good quality synthetic material and wear extremely well. I bought the purple cross body bag, which I’d been thinking about for a while (above) and the mustard bag is on Mel’s wish list, they also had this cute tasselled green suede clutch:
